Telefónica is one of the biggest drivers of the digital economy in the country, with revenues of 7.12 billion pesos in 2023.
The activity of the company, which operates under the Movistar commercial brand, is fundamentally focused on the business of mobile telephony and connectivity, broadband services, fiber optics to the home, pay television, fixed telephony and a complete range of digital solutions for small, medium and large companies and corporations.
Telefónica is present in 69 cities and municipalities in the country with fiber optics, 240 with fixed broadband and more than 1.120 with 4G LTE mobile telephony. Telefónica closed the fourth quarter of 2023 with a customer base of 25.1 million throughout the country: 21.4 million mobile lines, 1.47 million broadband customers -1.2 million with fiber-, 828 thousand Pay TV (728 thousand with IPTV) and 1.4 million fixed lines in service.
